- Resting mats: We try to have our rabbits outside in the yard as much as possible. When we need to have them in a cage the mats are great - a must have for Rex rabbits.
- Soda bottle water nipple: These attach to any size soda pop bottle and they are great for the summer. You can use a 2 liter bottle. When the bottle gets too old, just throw it away/recycle.
- Top fill water bottle: If you don't like pulling off water bottles every day, you might want to try these. You just fill them from the top with a garden hose or watering can in the summer. It may take some rabbits a little longer to get use to the nipple on these.
- Cage crocks for winter watering: Winter can be a hard time, keeping water from freezing, we find using crocks work out the best. Be it metal, plastic, or ceramic, you will have to stay on top of keeping them thawed. Here is what we have been using.
- Screen feeder: When feeding rabbit food you will want a feeder that has a screen on the bottom so the fines can fall through. This is what we use. Order a top with it if needed for weather.
- Hay racks: The racks are optional but makes feeding hay nicer for a cage setup. The hay will stay on the outside and feed through, so they won't make it dirty. Make sure you feed hay with quality rabbit food.
- Nest box: We make wood nest boxes for winter "see our Youtube video" but for the summer we love the metal ones. And we have a few of these.
- Best priced large cage: Made in the USA - We have a simple cage build Youtube video. But if you don't want to build one, here is a link for the best built cages for the money we can find. See our info page for what size you may need (click here). Short arms, you may want to go with 24" deep.
- Spring door latch: For replacement, DIY cages and carriers etc.
- Carriers: We recommend these from bass equipment. The single compartment are easier to run around with for us than our double compartment carriers. And ours have lasted for many years.
